Harlequin is a small, quiet, welcoming barn with a friendly community feel. In addition to enjoying the relative quiet of our barn setting, our boarders appreciate the positive atmosphere and camaraderie found at our little barn. We all work together and providing our horses with the best possible care is always our top priority. The horses and ponies at Harlequin Stables receive excellent care and supervision. We find it extremely important to get to know each horse so that we can cater to their individual needs. Horses are fed quality hay four times a day, grain twice a day, and their stalls are cleaned and bedded with pine shavings.
There are a total five barns throughout the property (ranging with 2-5 stalls in each) which eliminates the feeling of being at a large barn. The main barn is located next to the outdoor arena and contains three sets of cross ties for tacking and grooming, with an attached heated tack room and bathroom. The stall sizes vary in size for either a small pony (8x10) to a large horse (12x12). Weather permitting, the horses receive all day turn out in either a group or individual setting in one of our 14 paddocks.
Veterinary or farrier appointments can be arranged either directly or through the the Harlequin staff. Our main veterinarian is Dr. Becky Ruemmler of Commonwealth Veterinary and our main farrier is Steve Medeiros. You are welcome to have other vets and farriers come if you wish.
We currently have a couple of stalls available.
